The Dreamscape series is inspired by meditative moments and peaceful dreams. However, when I began painting this series. I was filled with electrical charged energy. I started painting madly on the largest canvases I could find. I loaded my widest brush with paint again and again, reaching up and down to the floor pushing pigments onto and into the canvases, rhythmically painting in long, firm brush strokes on a hot, steamy summer day with Janis Joplin's Cheap Thrills playing so loud, I'm sure the big pane windows were rattling.
