Szn Kraft
emerged on a path of pre-determinism, to be a Creative; the smell of oil paints today brings childhood memories rushing to
the surface, leaving impressions of their own; lifescapes of early painting endeavors overlaid with critiques and teaching of serious
intentions. Today, Kraft
resides in a live/work space in Palo Alto, California, with a studio-salon in California, showing locally nationally, and
internationally. Let Them Eat Cake : Eat Me, Hillary meets Taliban (peek preview) The art series “Eat
Me” is a highly anticipated series, exposing geopolitical indifferences toward women and girls using burkas and cakes
as metaphors. This new figurative-political work is censored from the origianlly slotted a 2-person show in in the West
Chelsea Art Building, New York on March 13, 2008. There was a preview in studio J32 at the Palo Alto Art Studios, CA on February 16, 2008 came and went with a huge wow-factor.
The abstraction series of Seasons (1a) The inspiration for this series began in mid-winter. As time went on and winter faded into spring and summer,
my feelings of seasonal change expressed itself though paint on canvas. - 07/05
The abstraction series of
Dreams (1b) With this series I am presenting an absolute feeling of space and determinism
on canvas, using all the tools I have as an artist: composition, color theory, prospective, texture, and glazing. I become
emotionally involved with each painting in the series, using grand long, consistent brush-strokes on the small
and large, building layers upon layers, pushing the prospective without meaning into an abstract formless sense of being,
keeping the sense of the non-existent, existential wholeness of the cosmic consciousness wrapped into a canvas stretched on
a simple wooden frame. It is the grand scale of Life represented by something I can carry from wall to wall, not unlike how
imagine the gods move their creations about, when they tire of the current view. - 11/06
The Chakra series Originally meant
to be an exploration of both the simple elements and the human journey from birth to death, the true meaning came to light
towards the final days of working the canvases. Seven canvases each representing the seven energy centers of the human body.
-05/03
The Figurative
series This
figurative series immediately followed the Chakra series, which is interpreted as a final cap on the illumination of the Human
Experience .

terms of personal comfort & security, the universe measures our success by how much we have learned. Just let go.
Let go of how you thought your life should
be, and embrace the life that is trying to
work its way into your consciousness." - Caroyln Myss
